The European Institute of Innovation & Tecnnology has selected the MOBILus consortium, led by the city of Barcelona and co-partnered by the UPC, to develop one of its innovation communities, in the field of urban mobility.
The talk "PhD in industry: overview of the AdMoRe project" will take place in room C1-007 (Building C1) at 12:00 on Wednesday 19th December. The speakers are three PhD students in the AdMoRe project. We will give an overview of our project as well as talk about our experience as PhD. Note that the talk is oriented to masters students and therefore, we will try not to go into scientific details. Also, we will talk about the Marie Sklodowska-Curie european grant and about our industrial partner (ESI) and how to apply for internship positions.
Managed Aquifer Recharge is a feasible solution to deal with water shortage. The dissertation focuses on the study of coupled microbial, biogeochemical and physical processes related to surface ponds, involving both quantity and quality aspects in two sites in the Llobregat Basin.
