The Rector Gabriel Ferraté Library has produced a new edition of the bibliometric study with information on the scientific production of the researchers of Barcelona School of Civil Engineering, the impact of their publications and the positioning of the School versus other European and international universities.
The report focuses on the specialized scientific publication in the School's own field area: civil engineering.
Bibliometric indicators of the UPC and Barcelona School of Civil Engineering are compared with those of other international universities with significant research activity in the field of civil engineering.
The selected universities are from Europe, the United States and Center & South America chosen for their presence in different networks and international rankings, as well as the other two Spanish universities with the most presence in the field of civil engineering research: the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
