2020-2021 graduation ceremony

At the presidential table, sat:

• Ms. Imma Ribas, Vice-President for Quality and Language Policy at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya
• Mrs. Esther Real Saladrigas, director of the Barcelona School of Civil Engineering – UPC
• Mrs. María Luisa Domínguez, president of ADIF and godmother of the 2020-2021 class
• Mr. Quim Llagostera Pujol, secretary of the College of Civil Engineering of Catalonia
• Mr. Gerard Estanyol, vice-dean of the College of Public Works Engineering and Civil Engineering of Catalonia

Joan Torres, graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and student of the Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, addressed the auditorium on behalf of his fellow graduates.

Mrs. María Luisa Domínguez highlighted that

Young engineers who finish their apprenticeship acquire the opportunity, but also the responsibility, to contribute with their daily work so that this profession continues to be one of the most decisive for the progress of our society. [...] I believe that the ultimate purpose of our work is to contribute to the development of a better society.

The presence of a hundred graduates, their families and plus ones filled UPC's Vertex auditorium. A musical duo was in charge of interpreting the musical themes of this edition.

The School would like to felicitate the 2021-2022 class and wishes that all those who attended the graduation ceremony enjoyed the party. Congratulations graduates!
