Prof. Eduardo Alonso from Escola de Camins, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and Prof. Sihong Liu from Institute of Hydraulic Structure Engineering (Hohai University, Nanjing, China) inaugurated on December 14th 2019 the International Joint Laboratory of Long-term Behaviour & Environmentally Friendly Rehabilitation Technologies of Dams.
A joint research institute between Hohai University (Nanjing, China) and UPC has been recently created to promote high level experimental and theoretical research on dam behaviour. Professor Eduardo Alonso leads the project with the collaboration of Dr. Núria Pinyol and Dr. Anna Ramon.
The center will be funded totally by Hohai University and technically supported by both Hohai University and UPC.
