The talk "PhD in industry: overview of the AdMoRe project" will take place in room C1-007 (Building C1) at 12:00 on Wednesday 19th December. The speakers are three PhD students in the AdMoRe project. We will give an overview of our project as well as talk about our experience as PhD. Note that the talk is oriented to masters students and therefore, we will try not to go into scientific details. Also, we will talk about the Marie Sklodowska-Curie european grant and about our industrial partner (ESI) and how to apply for internship positions.
In this talk we would like to give an overview of the AdMoRe project (EU H2020 research and innovation programme - Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions). First, we will introduce the AdMoRe project and how we collaborate with different companies (Airbus, Volkswagen, Siemens and ESI) and universities (Swansea University, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and École Centrale Nantes). We will also talk about the advantages this kind of grants and our particular experience as beneficiaries. Then, we will present the eight different projects inside AdMoRe which correspond to eight particular challenges identified by the companies previously mentioned.
