European Project EngiMath awarded internationally

The European project EngiMath: Mathematics online learning model in engineering education, has been awarded with the Golden Apple for the Best ERASMUS+ innovation and the Best Project in the Skills Relevance by EURASHE.

 

The EngiMath project has recently received international recognition::

- The Golden Apple for the Best ERASMUS+ innovation projects for the 2020 and 2021 calls in Estonia (the coordinating country), in recognition of the project's great impact.
- Best project in the Skills Relevance category by the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE 2022)

"EngiMath: Mathematics online learning model in engineering education" was developed between November 2018 and August 2021 and had the objective, among others, of preparing online teaching material in 7 languages ​​(including Catalan and Spanish).

Six European universities participated in the project, which was funded by the European Erasmus+ programme. One of its nodes was the UPC, and the team was made up of Professor Carles Serrat as Main Researcher, Montserrat Bruguera and Chara Pantazi, from the Department of Mathematics, Professor M. Rosa Estela from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Marc Alier from Department of Service and Information System Engineering.
