Introducing AdMoRe at ECCM-ECFD 2018

Viernes, Septiembre 28, 2018

AdMoRe stands for "Empowered decision-making in simulation-based engineering: Advanced Model Reduction for real-time, inverse and optimization in industrial problem”.

The goal of AdMoRe is to develop frontier research in the field of computational mechanics and to train the next generation of European engineers. ESR #1, Vasileios Tsiolakis (Volkswagen AG) and ESR #6, Guillem Barroso (Swansea University) present the research of the AdMoRe consortium on simulation-based engineering for fast and multiple-queries in real industrial problems at the joint venue of the 6th European Conference on Computational Mechanics (ECCM 6) and the 7th European Conference on Computational Fluid Dynamics (ECFD 7), held in Glasgow in June 2018 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of ECCOMAS.

AdMoRe is an Innovative Training Network (ITN) European Training Network (ETN) funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 research and innovation program within the framework of Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under grant agreement number 675919. It consists of three academic institutions, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (AdMoRe coordinator, Spain), Swansea University (United Kingdom) and École Centrale de Nantes (France) and four industrial partners, all world leaders in their fields, Volkswagen AG (Germany), Siemens Healthineers (United Kingdom), Airbus (France) and ESI Group (France).
