Two decades of recognition for academic excellence in the field of Environmental Engineering, the Marcel Brú and Turull Awards end their career after completing the planned budget.
Created in 2004 by the Brú i Turull family and Professor Rafael Mujeriego, these awards were born in memory of Marcel Brú i Turull, member of the Environmental Technical Committee, delegate of the course on Water Quality Management, active member of the student associations and excellent student of Barcelona School of Civil Engineering.
During these 20 years, and thanks to the unconditional support of the Bru i Turull family, the awards have awarded students with the best academic record in environmental courses. Coinciding with the dissolution of the awards, the Evaluation Committee has taken a decision that honors the spirit of participation of Marcel Brú iTurull and the final financial remainder of the fund will be allocated to the Student Delegation of Barcelona School of Civil Engineering.
This donation aims to promote university and participatory life, keeping alive the commitment of the Brú i Turull family and Professor Mujeriego to the associative and collaborative fabric of the School.
The School's direction would like to express their deep gratitude to the Brú i Turull family and to Professor Rafael Mujeriego for their continued generosity during all these years.
