The Laboratori d'Enginyeria Marítima, LIM/UPC, participates in the implementation of the SRIA (Scientific, Research and Innovation Agenda) in the Black Sea.
Specifically, LIM/UPC is in charge of modeling the population and currents in current and future conditions, the morphodynamic response of the Odessa beaches (Ukraine) and the distribution of microplastics to the Black Sea. The results obtained must allow the development of this region based on the principles of the blue economy in addition to establishing links between the other research centers in the area.
