Professor Núria Pinyol Puigmartí, from the Geotechical Engineering and Geo-Sciences section of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, has been selected, at the Spanish Society of Rock Mechanics (SEMR) and the Spanish Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (SEMSIG) proposal, to give the 2nd Hutchinson Lecture organized by the JTC1 Committee on natural slopes and landslides.
The lecture will be held in Hong Kong on December 3rd 2018 in the framework of the "Second JTC1 Workshop on Triggering and Propagation of Rapid Flow-like Landslides".
The Hutchinson Lecture values the contribution of young researchers to the development of knowledge about hillsides and landslides.
