Profs. Albert de la Fuente and Sergio Cavalaro in collaboration with Smart Engineering (Spin-Off UPC) and LATEM have optimized the precast linnings of the Follo Line Tunnel (Oslo) - ACCIONA/GHELLA JV -
The 40-kms Follo Line Tunnel (Oslo) will be constructed by the ACCIONA/GHELLA JV. This is one of the most relevant civil engineering projects in Europe. The fiber reinforced precast concrete segments have been optimized by profs. Albert de la Fuente and Sergio Cavalaro in collaboration with Smart Engineering (Spin-Off UPC) by carrying numerical analysis and an extensive experimental campaign on full-scale segments in the LATEM Lluís Agulló.
