Beca doctoral en Mecànica de Fluids Computacional

The International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona is seeking candidates for PhD studies in the field of numerical methods and computational fluid dynamics. The research project duration is 3 years, and it will concern the development of strategies for the numerical simulation of elastic turbulence phenomena and stabilized compressible flow for viscoelastic fluids.

We are looking for motivated engineers, mathematicians and physicists with a background in continuum mechanics, numerical methods and computer science. Preference will be given to candidates with a Masters degree on numerical methods and/or computational mechanics. Experience in Fortran 90, C++ programming is desirable. Good English language skills are required, both written and verbal.
